    Cool Hangin’ in the Hangar

I have the same "Airplane Stamps" picture my sister got for me on my 40th birthday. She is a retired postal worker. I will now have to go dig it up out of the box wherever it may be. Problem is my 40th birth day was just over 20 years ago and cant exactly put my mind on where I got it stored...

    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

Don't worry about those reds. You will be too busy blasting away through your build making new airplane and engine noises :yesss:. The brushless starter is going to be such a treat and the  factor is off the chart. Now your challenge is going to be making the insides look as good as the...

    3DHS 75" EDGE 540 V2 Assembly Thread

Build is coming along nicely. Looking forward to its completion and flight report. You going to install any kind of flight stabilization? or fly it "Raw Electric" ? I was / used to be opposed to them in larger planes until I flew my buddies 35cc Demonstrator with one. Was amazed what I could...

My buddies Top Flight P-51 landed very well for his first landing with it. The take off however was not so pretty but I will say I was amazed that it was in the air very quickly! Flies really well with a DLE 55RA and 22x10 prop.

Have not flown my gas junk yet (Plane hauler needed) but being able to shove my foam junk in to a Camry is a hoot. Having a ton of fun with the Avanti S and QQ Cap 232. My buddies P-38-L flies extremely well too and looks awesome in the air. I just happen to have one of those "Runways" too...

Had a bad cross wind 15-20 but still had some cut up fun with the foam. Go Pro does real well mounted to them or in your hand. If you squint your eyes you can see the P-38-L :) . It flew well for its Maiden.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Got my buddies P-38 just about finished. Assembly was easy peasy but the wire management and radio install with the gyro was a bit challenging. Keeping enough room for ease of battery change outs and component placement and still being able to put the canopy on was not a picnic. At one point I...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

The "field of view" is 140 degrees but the video shows best clarity about 90 degrees. It gets a bit fuzzy after 95 degrees. Here is a video of the same flight but from "pilots view" taken with my new Hero5 session. The video quality on you tube is substandard to the actual video. It's in 4K. Not...

Like Doug's Mig and My Avanti S it has an integrated circuit for lights, Ailerons, Flaps, Gear/Gear doors. It was not pre installed like my Avanti S was. Lots of wiring connections I have to do on this one ;).

LoL you so funny...... What I think happened is that at the time I posted that I ran out of HS data. Going to go get Mediacom HS internet and get away from T-Mobil Hot Spot. 10 Gigs of data did not last a week. BIG RIP OFF!

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Got it all un-boxed tonight. . Not as intimidating as first thought but great care will be needed in the assembly. This thing has 11 friggen servos in it and electric retracts. And yes the scale detail and form line is quite excellent. Counter rotating props to boot! I bet I could make room on...
