What beer ya drinking tonight?
Celebrating my Birthday a few days early (the 19th). Had some Guinness cake earlier, which was chocolate cake made with Guinness in the cake mix and icing. Now having a couple pints of Guinness and working on my Pitts. Can't beat it!- Bipeguy03

What Wheels to use for 35% plane?
+1 on the Skylite wheels. They are a little pricey at about $20 a wheel but they are worth every penny. The best thing is they are resistant to getting flat spots. The ones on my 37% Ultimate sat in my trailer tied down all winter, and after just a couple of minutes of taxiing around the...- Bipeguy03

Checked the timing on the Pitts this evening. 42* BTDC lol. Had to cut on the sensor mount holes but got it set back to 28*, hopefully that fixes the problem I was having chasing the needles back and forth. Plan is to finally test fly it with the 120 Sunday, fingers crossed!- Bipeguy03

Yea, the RA's are great for warbirds but they don't seem to like the bigger props like a 23 inch. I'm quite happy with my 55, I just think I need to tweak my timing a bit, it gives me trouble getting it started.- Bipeguy03

I only have a DLE 55 on mine and it's a blast. It will do everything you want with a 50 class engine, going to the 60cc or 70cc just gives it a little more punch out of hovers and other such maneuvers.- Bipeguy03

NICE!! I love TT but +1 on ordering from them at Toledo. It's a great way to save some coin, but you better be patient. Last year I ordered a new back plate from them at Toledo, they only charged me $15 for shipping and all but took almost 3 weeks to get it.- Bipeguy03

I've seen them go for anything from $200 to clear up to $600, all depends on if you find a guy that really wants one. I wanted one for the longest time, before I gave up and bought to Hostetler plan (same airplane but 100cc sized). If you price it around the $300 range you should be able to...- Bipeguy03

Yep, 35% :) Started on the nuts side and had a DLE 170 in it.. It was kind of ridiculous with that power, stepped down to a DLE 120 with a Falcon 29x9w. Hoping that will give me a nice scale power plant.- Bipeguy03

Started getting my baby ready for flying season. Had to fix a broken cabane brace wire and clean some corrosion off of hardware. Also FINALLY getting around to putting the smoke system in. Bout time to start putting on shows with it :D- Bipeguy03
