    Pre-Oiling new engine.

    Its not a nitro engine. All engines are pre run before shipment. Oil does not dry up, it just gets a little stiff.

    DLE 35RA Metering Valve modification??

    Typically, it is only bottom or front carbs that need the static port covered or a line run from it to the fuse. I've never seen a rear carb need that mod, since it is already out of the turbulent air.

    You still have heat build up inside the cowl. It can get hot enough to vapor lock.

    I think ValleyView RC has a type of silencer that is inserted into the stinger of the pipe. I know it helped on the 100-120cc engines.

    I bought that AeroBroach. Havent used it yet, but I got one! I have been using GG on my hinging lately. A small syringe works wonders too. I just pinch the tip so that it fits down in the slot a little deeper. A little goes a long way. I glue up one side, slap hinges in, glue up the other...

    Thats what Im doing. FI has been happening in the UAV world for a few years. Manufacturing techniques and parts sourcing have become less expensive, which is why it can be feasable to trickle it down to hobbyists.

    If you have the dead washingtons laying around, then go for it. Otherwise, sit back and let the other fools spend their $$$. 3W has HFE. Believe me, I looked into it, but you lose alot of power.

    Mostly gonna be used in government applications. You will still have that stray person who will use it for hobby use. Give me a carb any day.
