The BS that went on at NALL on Friday Night

Yea, like I said i am not in full knowledge of that part of it, but I have heard that no less than MANY people flew the crashed/crashing plane. Anyway.. just saying... maybe this one needs to cool down? I'll keep an eyeball on it. :D

The BS that went on at NALL on Friday Night

Working on exactly that. The crashed airplane situation, I mean... I'll say that doesn't sound like anything I have not seen at 10000 fly-in's. I myself have purposely put one in from 500 feet. I was not there Friday night so I don't know exactly what was going on, but to me getting all in a wad...

The BS that went on at NALL on Friday Night

Ok.. so Joe Smith was not the fire guy.. confirmed... I don't think anyone said he was, but if that's where it was going, it was not him. No word on who it was though, but apparently the Staff at TT knows.

3D Bandsaw for Building RC Planes?

A band saw does work, but you have to be really careful. When we did my Dalton, we left the wings, stabs and rudder in 1/2 it's foam shuck to hold the surface flat to the table and then slowly pushed it through the band saw. The blade we used had very fine teeth and it didn't hurt the balsa or...

Chris, he said so much that if he hovers for 1 second too long, it's over. (his Jeti radio is constantly telling him the AMP draw so he knows) Also after big "stops" or Hovers" he said you will notice him doing a big downline or a nice circuit around the field, this is a cooling maneuver to keep...

He wasn't really trying to hide it too much. He said if someone wanted to build on they could, they still would not know the mixing and the power levels and all of that, so if they wanted to "try" and learn all of it it would cost them so much in planes and ESC's and such most would give up.

Markus has SIX 500+ OZ servos on the system. (2) move the pitch of the blades, and (4) move the entire storm to the right and left. It is seriously BAD ASS. This is the 8th revision and with out telemetry he said it would never work as overtime he pushes hard for a nose hover or to "stop" the...

    DLA Engines

I spoke to Lee from DLA at Nall as well. He's a nice guy and seems well educated on motors. I'll have more info from him coming soon. But I can say he is offering a 3 year warrentee on his motors. The engines have all been re-worked from previous versions and he services them here in the US...

The BS that went on at NALL on Friday Night

And they should shut that crap down!! And that will have no effect on the fun vibe. As I said, after the flying is done, people can get a little "loose" if that's your gig, but if your old enough to get loose you're old enough to not be a **** and if you are on the grounds you should know...

FPV NUT SHOT.... If you know cool.. if not SORRY!

SO... I can be a moron at times. (This year at Nall I was good all week until a sun beaten and un fed Sleepy was fed some 14.4% Stouts by our good friends at a certain servo company.... THOMAS) And in this state, I sometimes come up with something that ends up being truly funny.... and at this...
