    What type foam for baffling?

    Just saying, i won't be placing foam close to the cylinder that can reach 200-280F . I personal hand fitted 3/32 aircraft plywood baffles around my cylinders , not chance of combustion there:too-cool:

    ya i just ordered 5 us gallons for 115 with gst so it's going to be $6.08 per litre and the VP rep said it does go bad like pump gas does . Got a 5 gallon on order so 7-14 days

    There is a VP racing Fuel distrubutor in Calgary beside the International Airport . Well the octane is higher is and there isn't ant alcohol in the fuel that will screw around with the rubber embrane in the carb that adjust the fuel flow into the venture . I'm tired of not get a constant...

    Just went out it the field and to road was dry enough to get in , talked to the guys and discussed airframes and how Jtec and Carden were the best in the business with the quality and help to the builders .     Here's an update on my progress I went to the hoby shop and got a small can of red spray paint which i used on the baffles going around the 120 engine ..:) You can see the Ignition is sitting on floating mount i purchased from Traildragger RC should keep the vibrations away from the circuits...

    Like those barrier panels , if that doesn't work so well have the ceiling sprayed with expanding foam it's been used for insulating trailer for years with excellent results .

    Hi Cam , i did lay down some 1/16 balsa wood over the the plywood to direct the heat from the pipes out through the ventilation underneath. Yes to keep the radio area cool .
