    Yippee! What the postman brought

I'm using Life A123 2600mah batteries for the CB200 box they are very close in voltage with a 1/10 or so, they can hold at high amps for a long time with out fadding down in volts or amps like lipos do. If you looking at Jeti i believe the DS 14 you have to upgrade to all the telemetry was as...

The initial price is steep but the info and quality and info from all the telemetry is amazing . It was a large step for me coming out of hibernation 20 plus years alot had change in radio's from the channel(52)to 2.4G frequency jumping to now with telemetry and info at you finger tips . Look...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Oh ya with this Studio you can view every detail of performance and keep track of issues that come up , very helpful . i would imagine Futaba and Jr and Graupner, Boxbox have a similar setup .

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Snoopy must all that snow and cold weather affecting my recall , been a couple of months since scrolling through the Jeti. Just pulled a screen shot of a flight with the telemetry and it max out at 7.26 for battery one to 7.04 for battery two, the amps are like what you said it should be .All...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Most pilots who use high output 400 plus oz are using the s-bus or distribution (CB200) block which uses 16-14 gauage wire from the batteries back to the hub or receiver. Most are using 20awg wires from the hub/receiver to help get the volts and amps to the servos without too much drop from the...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I never said MY servos are better than other brands, just pointing out whats available today and what has been common knowledge to alot of pilots in this hobby with what will last and work well. I have used MKS servos, Savox , Jr and Hitec with a few old Airtronics and everyone has been a...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Well I would agree that these top pilots do put more wear on the servos but when guys are having issues with not getting their plane to track properly without having to readjust the elevator servo trim each flight. Remember it was three days before TAS and the pilot after two flights decided to...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Same goes with Hitec:agree-disagree:, just asked the Vegas pilots , you know who. Nothing but issues with them not centering and gear train stripping. Even Spencer Norquist flew Hitec a few years ago not now .. Hummm :bigyawn:

From the GP manual , acerc you might get cavitation with the 29x9 so throttle managment might have to be used to keep the older pilots happy . :)

Though you would enjoy this , thanks to friends at GiantScaleNews... It looks to be the same as as the other Futaba servos and reports are that's very efficient so lower voltage usage .

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Talk with a few pilots in the South central district and a couple of them have had issues with the 4-40 Titanium hanger 9 and SWB turn barrels bending . It happened on the ailerons that were bent from flying the 40 % Carden , Kam Aero and J-Tec planes . Remember they are pushing 38-40 lbs of...

Here's the setup I'm using 4-40 threaded rod with a carbon fiber sleeve hysol eypoxy with to fiber lock nuts holding it together . No flex just positive input to the rudder . The last photo is the result of when equipment fails from TAS 2017 during freestyle

Stangflyer I know you mean welll but my MKS 599 are $190 per at seven =$1330 plus my backup 599 used for throttle +190 = $1520 . Unless your flying a Krill or Carf your airframe is more expensive , I agree . My PAU 300 was $1149 now the replacement 330lx is $1249 per copy so you see were I'm...
