    My wife flew from St John's Newfoundland to Calgary yesterday and the plane from TO was 2 hrs and 40 minutes delayed because of the ice Ontario received. She was only four hours late but arrived without an issues thanks to those deicing guys taking get care to the ice on the aircraft ..

    We always used after run oil , air tool oil worked great . I believe its oiled up ,if i need parts i will get from Richard Verano who the YS rep and i who him from my racing days .

    Heard on the news that both Chicago airports are close due to extreme cold ..fasten some cardboard in fornt of the radiator to get the temps up . Thats the only ways to help get heat into the engine . Hope your running synthetic oil !!

    I guess the sounds issue is the biggest issue and flying over other people's property . The field i'm at which is butted up againist the CP railways went through sounds issues with new 1-2 acre lot houses that went up behind the railway in the last 3-4 years. We measured a db rating of 86Db only...

    That would be cruel for you to cut by hand . One of the pilots in the NW regions cuts his kits PNW Extra, with a laser cutter , that why i asked !

    Serial number on older da120 is 1753 compared to 4293 on my new DA120 DA most have sold alot in the last six years . Lots of get stuff for your assembly, love PAU tanks bit would ditch the felt for a Dubro nipple . Your going to love that 26x12 prop , i tried a 27x12 and my 120 and it was...

    Never used J&J before but i like the quality of the assembly so for . The PAU tailwheels just don't give the plane proper control when taxiing and the those flimsy spring stretch out .
