    Some more motivation to build by rainy weather outside. Soldered up the Cabane struts. Cleaning off the flux once everything is soldered up Sucks but it has to be done.

    Here is what my opening looks like. hope it helps. It works great. If you prefer Decal Dennis thats fine. B&E Graphics already has the radial graphics made up to fit the cowl.

    I may be late with this. You should mount the motor in place before you center up the cowl. You can use masking tape to hold the cowl in place locating the front of the cowl then drilling your mounting holes. Sorry I look in so little but I find myself busy right now.

    I have drilled out several motor mounts without any problems. I know of friends of mine that did the same without any problems. However I'll let you make up your own mind on this one.

    ere is another out of turn step but it is progress. Built the landing gear this afternoon. The kit didn't come wit an Axle that bridged the gap between the LG Struts. I bought an extra 5/32 diameter rod from the LHS and some 5/32 ID Brass tubing to finish the axle the way it should be done...

    Hope I'm not to late. Be sure to mount the Cowl with the Canopy on. That is what keeps the Cowl round and where it belongs. Sweetpea also warned me when I was building mine not to start the engine with the Cowl on unless the Canopy is on... Never seen it happen but he said there is a chance that...
