    DA 150L vs 170?

I have flown both the standard 150 vs the 170 on JTec HP90 pipes. The 150 was connected to a 28.5X12X3 and the 170 on various props. I believe the pipes do limit top end power but does offer good low end power. The 170 is stronger but the 150 is really no slouch either. I am about ready to do a...

Assembly: Aeroworks QB 150cc Yak 55M

If I was ever to purchase another AW plane it would have to be this: Something about that Yak 54 is just plain sexy.

Im not sure about going to 22 gauge wire due to the length of the runs but I can see how you could drop over a pound off from the plane. Under 40 is a nice weight for a plane this size. Big difference from my 150cc AW300 I had. If I remember correctly my H9 Sukhoi with full exhaust is just over...

That's not to bad of a weight at all. But it is likely the lightest you can probably get it.

    150-200cc Extra 300SP

That type of cooling seems to be very popular. Btw, I live in toledo, probably not to far from you.

    150-200cc Extra 300SP

Fuse has been thrown out. I pulled the rudder out of fuse. Hinges can be drilled out if needed. With the exception of a small cut in one wing where it slides into thw wing pocket everything is perfect. One wing has been recovered though. OE covering blew off.

IMAC Dalton Yak 54, 38% please submit suggestions here....

yes, it is a separate function in my programming. It is based and activated on my stick positions. Only available while I am in my IMAC rates. About 9 degrees elevator, 40% rudder, and maybe 15 degrees aileron.....ish. In snap mode rudder is reduced and elevator is close to the same but...

IMAC Dalton Yak 54, 38% please submit suggestions here....

ortho, while I have not flown a MEL, you may be able to speed up your snaps by adding more aileron throw. I have a lot of aileron throw to give a faster snap. Plus the rudder and elevator is minimal. To much of either will make the snap look really deep. For me at least it takes a lot of...

    Exit Air Dam

it looks like it would work ok. I just use triangle stock and cover it with the same color covering. Makes a big difference in cooling performance.

    150-200cc Extra 300SP

I have both wings, elevators, and canopy that can be sold. On my 3rd prop failure I was not able to make it back to the runway and pancaked the plane in. Landing gear went straight up into the fuse. I am going to get the Dalton/PAU extra I think to replace this plane. I will also have a brand...

Have you had a chance to put this plane on a scale to see what it weigh's? Or did I miss it?

    New airplane hauler

I would vote for the Transit. Sprinters have been money pits for our company. We just decommissioned one last week. 40K miles on it. It has been costing us way to much money in repairs lately.

    PAU Owners Thread

Up or down thrust usually corrects that. One thing that is common in IMAC is to have down trim on closed throtitle for downlines. Might be as simple as that. Mine did not have this issue either.

When I had rolls that were not axial that was my problem. This was before I learned how to get my geometry correct. It took me a lot of time figuring it out and im sure I remember watching some of Joes older post from down on the deck.com to help me figure out what to do. Since I was newer in...

Joe, I tried a protractor once and found that method of using it painful. So I bought an incidence meter that can be used for checking throws. Full up and full down with anything in the middle. So I measure full up and full down and use the turn buckle to get even throws at the same end point...
