Assembly: Aeroworks QB 150cc Yak 55M

Joe, great video. It is pretty much how I set up my multi servo surfaces. I may have missed it but when I set up my servos my end points in the radio are all exact. Say 120% for this discussion. I leave that end point there and do not adjust it. I will then use the turn buckle and change sub...

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

http://www.redlineoil.com/content/files/tech/Two-Stroke%20Technical%20Info.pdf some interesting reading. It seems all temps are taken also at the head.

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

I agree brand has nothing to do with it but the design of the engine does affect how it cools. I mentioned the 120 and 170 because it does have less cooling surface compared to other so proper baffling is a must. I think we will continue to disagree on the 340F being very warm based on my sensor...

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

well hopefully I get one soon and compare to where I place my sensor and under the plug. I have talked to some of the guys at DA a few times on this and based on where my sensor is at and peak temps I am where I should be on the high side. They did tell me about temps at the plug but I do not...

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

What kind of differences are you seeing when mounted on the plug. Referencing Ryans post of 340f at the same place I monitor my temps appears to be at the upper and dangerous limits of the engine and oil.

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

Post a pic of your baffling. I would not fly my engines at 340f. That is getting really hot.

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

    No limitz spinners

I just cut it till I was happy. Having another spinner already cut does help though.

    No limitz spinners

My last one I marked on the back plate where I wanted the cutout to start. Then I transfered that mark on the spinner mounted. I made a paper template of the prop. Once it was where I liked it I transfered it to the spinner. Then I cut undersized and opened it up from there based on how the prop...

Filling gouges and scratches in balsa

I have used that to. But I learned the hard way to not use the whole tub on one plane. It becomes really heavy and does not fly well.

You did a fantastic job Tom with that plane. I was truly impressed with it.it further proved you do not need a 40% plane to be competitive in IMAC.
