In a high amperage application I would definetly make them fool proof. Because mistakes happen and they can be costly.

    3D JAG's 35% Carden Edge

Maybe it was the batch I got, maybe it was old. But my hands were yellow when I was done. And it runs yellow off on white covering.

TaildraggerRC That's the only place I've seen it. Chad said it holds up well but time will tell. I'm not a fan of the yellow tygon since the yellow rubs off on stuff.

Added a ply plate to seal off the fuse and added some grommets for the fuels lines. Going to spend a little time going over all the bolts and make sure everything is tight. Then put the cowl back on and get it ready to fly. It will be awhile though. Headed for vacation next week.

Yeah I have to disagree. Just because you don't like his opinion it's trolling. That's crap. Everyone is entitled to their opinion based on their experience.

Yeah I agree. I never liked them and they seemed cheap. I use Deans on most things. JST on 500mah and below. And XT60 on my big plane batteries since that is what they came with.

Ok so the only issue I had when flying last weekend was a small hesitation in the engine. It didn't do it all the time and usually on a 45 degree up line when rolled inverted. @capthis thinks it's a pressure change in the cowl causing issues with the carb metering pressure. So I soldered One...

Discussion Work bench or stand questions 100cc

I'm with you, I cant work on a plane on the floor. To hard on the body for me. So I build a stand close to the Terryscustom design that is shown above. Not as neat and pretty as his but it gets the job done.

Help! Setting up 4 aileron servos 37% edge

Yup the Terryscustom video is pretty good. Setting them up close mechanically is key, then use the servo balancing feature in the radio to fine tune them.

IMAC Double Build, Carden Pro 124" Extra 300 40%

Yeah thats pretty close to the pipes, I'm sure its getting pretty hot. I'm with you, I would replace it if its already caused some issues. Can you mount it inside the motor box, away from the heat?

Well at least with that you can li up first then go dead stick. Either way it sucks though.

    Clover Creek Invitational

Ok cool, I'll have to check it out. I have been looking at getting into IMAC and just want to go check it out. I hear clover creek is the place to check out. I think I was talking to Gil up at an event and he was telling me about it. I think that was his name.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Had a great afternoon at the field yesterday. Got the Carden in the air and the CG is now right on. Plane flies amazing. Didn't take any other picks. But got to spend the afternoon with some great friends and got some great flights in.

Haha. Yeah @capthis repaired the cowl for me. I did some sanding to get it smooth. But I think planes always fly better with a few battle scars. One of these years I'd like to completely redo the scheme and replant and recover. But for now I'm going to fly the heck out of it.

Well finally got my wheel pants in and installed. They still need some paint but I don't care. Just wanted to fly it. And well got the CG nailed after the weight removal with no added weight. And boy does it fly awesome. Got in 3 great flights. @capthis took some video and I'll post when he...
