Haven’t tried the egg, but I have two Traegers. Love ‘’em. Pellet fired and indirect heat. Smoke to 450 degrees. That is one place the egg has over the Traeger (high heat). I never cook on the highest temp setting anyway. Cooks unbelievable pork butt, Tri-tips, chicken, fish, veggies, pizzas...- Alky6

Scale RCM 1/3 Scale Champ Build
Could be more of a pulse tuning issue they have to deal with across the rpm range versus a reduction in friction on flow. Purely speculation.- Alky6

@49dimes - the 12x6 is a slo fly prop. Probably fold that thing flat with the motor. I do have a 13x7 and a 13x8 (APC) if you would like to try. Let me know and I’ll send them.- Alky6

I picked up one to replace a park 450 motor. Have yet to run it, but they look well built. BuddyRC sells them as well. Shouldn't need to worry about a knockoff from them.- Alky6
