The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I have had that problem before with Chief from the west coast but, from the East coast it is usually pretty quick.

    Airtronics Users

I got started with Airtronics back in 91 and have had Hitec and Futaba since but, always came back to Airtronics. Finally came to a point where I outgrew the Airtronics radio and went to Jeti.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

The 176EVO is a BEAST!!! I was talking with Ken a couple weeks ago and told him I had about 12 flights on it and was really surprised at the amount of power and he just laughed and said wait until you see what happens in about 3 more flights. Every flight during the competition this weekend that...

Links to IMAC 2016 Known Sequences

This is one of the best things you can do next to going to a contest! I flew all year last year in Basic and I could fly the sequences just fine but, didn't know why I was getting dinged on some of the maneuvers that I thought looked great, so I asked one of the intermediate pilots that had...

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Went to the first IMAC contest this weekend in El Dorado, AR. Had a blast! Field was one of the tightest I have flown at as far as contests go and I went from Basic last year to Intermediate this year. Between engine issues, which finally got resolved about 2 weeks before the contest, and...

    Airtronics Users

WOW! I was hoping to be able to sell my 5 month old SD-10GS with some 8 channel FHSS-1 and some 10 channel FHSS-3 rx's but, I don't think anyone is going to want to buy something that they can't get repaired when the time comes. I just switched to a Jeti DS-14.

WE ALL NEED TO ACT TO SAVE THE HOBBY

I will not have a specific drone day at our club. We have a few pilots that fly multi-rotors but, the novelty wore off about as fast as it picked up.

    piston ring replacement

Typical bowman rings, from my experiences, will have a 3 to 4 thousandths end gap. The standard dle end gap, at least on my 170 is almost 15 thousandths! Wish I could find someone with some bowman rings for the 170 that wasn't going to use them :)

    Hello From Houston, Tx

Welcome to GSN. An awesome place to just hang out and chill. A great vibe and pretty decent IMAC following. As @Krzy4RC said, there is a contest in El Dorado, AR this weekend if you are up for a road trip :)

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I have been an Airtronics fan for many years and still like them. I just ran out of channels with the SD-10GS. I went in at the entry level DS-14 Jeti because I didn't need all the bells and whistles of the DS-16. The 14 is $795 from Espritmodel.com and came with a free case, nice one at that...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I received the Dual Path add on for the DS-14 yesterday so, I installed the 2nd rx in the 330LX and got everything bound through the CB200. Took longer to make the extension for remotely locating the rx than it did to actually make it work. I am loving the Jeti more and more all the time :)
