    Power boards/expanders really needed?

It unusual for you to have seen a drastic voltage sag with A123. Maybe a lesser quality LIFE, but not A123. A123's can provide more amperage than any other chemistry. I've even heard of a guy that put two packs together and started his truck when it's battery went down. I run dual 2500 A123's...

Where should build and assembly threads be? POLL, please vote!

Parsing the difference between what some consider a "build" or an "assembly" is not a good reason to divide or sub-divide a forum.

EMAC - Electric ONLY IMAC Events

I see where CC is going to fly a little different format for rounds where the pilot flies one round, lands, then goes back in line for the second sequence. It will be interesting to see how this works out. It should provide equal opportunity for IC and Electrics while not adding/complicating the...

EMAC - Electric ONLY IMAC Events

It would take some digging in to AMA sanction rules, but I believe the one sequence and land option would have to apply equally to all contestants. I don't think a singular exception (for electric) would, or should be be allowed. Flying one sequence rounds contest wide allows for both electric...

EMAC - Electric ONLY IMAC Events

Talk to the CD of the contest. One sequence rounds are at his discretion. There's a contest coming up in the SC at the end of July that would make for a good chance to try it. It works well at the CC events, and as long as the contestants get in the air quickly and on time you can get in pretty...

#3 - It should be affixed to the TX. Even if you put it to one side it can slip in to the prop arc if you make a sudden move.

You can do it. Oh well, we'll miss you if you don't make it but understand it's a bit more of a drive for you than me. Wayne and I will be bringing his toy hauler so we'll be camping at the field all weekend. I love getting up in the AM and you're already at the field and ready to fly.

    Curious. Ethanol or not

93 Octane pump gas and Stihl Ultra @ 50:1. I never drain the tank or run the carb dry. I use almost all aluminum lines except to connect to the tank and carb, and there I use the clear yellow Chinese line which stays flexible much longer than true Tygon. I use Viton on the clunk. I've never had...
