    105" AJ Laser Build Thread

Now onto setup. There are several ways to skin this cat but this is what I've started doing lately and have found that it makes it quite easy to set up and match dual servos on an aileron. First order of business is to find out how long you really need your servo arm/control horn for the best...

    105" AJ Laser Build Thread

Next up on the list is installation of the aileron servos. First, the laser comes with some string routed through the wing to assist with fishing out your servo wires. I first move these strings out of the way and insert a servo in the opening and drill and mount the servo using #2 servo...

    105" AJ Laser Build Thread

I'm starting out a little late in the thread so here is a quick run down of what I've got so far. I apologize that I do not have any unpacking pics as some of the unpacking occurred at Joe Nall in order to be able to squeeze this thing in the trailer. However from the looks of the box and...

    105" AJ Laser Build Thread

So while at Joe Nall I made a split second decision that I just had to have a 105" AJ Laser and it just so happened that they had a trailer full (well at least one of them any ways) and I brought it home with me in the Patriot Scheme. I'm going to make my first attempt at doing a build thread...

    Basic engine tuning.

I typically run 93 octane since around me my options are 87, 89, and then 93. I have been to a few far away events where I've had to re-fill my gas can and the only thing available was 91 for that given area and I never noticed a difference between that and 93. I work offshore and am gone...

    Pilot RC 107" Extra 330SC

Here, I fixed it.... While watching a tv pilot called Pilots, Pilots, Pilots about pilots, I drilled pilot holes in the pilot and in the pilot for mounting the pilot to the pilot.

    Field Equipment: Battery Chargers

The pl6 can discharge at 50W. I have an icharger 406 duo as well (don't remember what the discharge rating is though). With either of these you can do a regenerative discharge (pl6 up to 1000W discharge, not sure about the icharger) if you are using a Pb battery as your source. Another cool...

    Muffler problem.

I would suggest loctite 272, its for high temp applications. If you can't find that then use the permatex ultra copper as suggested above. Use that along with the nord locks and you should be set. You may want to invest in a tap to clean the cylinder threads as well and either use a die or...
