    Had our last IMAC contest this weekend in Hillsdale, KS. Could not have asked for more perfect weather, upper 60's to low 70's and less than 10 mph winds all weekend! Had 23 registered pilots also! Mr. Mike Karnes was there to help with the judging and hand out the regional points trophies.

    I will be putting the dle 170 on it to start with. Have to use what I have at this point. The rc budget has been severely depleted this year :-( Definitely going to be a zdz under the hood at some point :-)

    Thanks for the offer Rob. It looks like the LX deal is going to happen for the same price as the fuse alone so I can't pass that one up. I know it is a 2 owner plane and nothing bad has happened to it :) so it will make a nice backup/play plane.

    A new fuse with shipping is right at $850. I was looking at the one wing tonight and the wing tube is loose inside the wing so the idea of a fuse is out :( I may wait until the Black Friday sales show up and see what comes around if the LX doesn't work out :)

    I am still toying with the thought of just getting a new fuselage. The wings are going to get a VERY THOROUGH inspection and if they are both still solid, I may get a fuselage and have fun again. The horizontals and elevators are still in perfect shape along with the landing gear :) We will see...

    We had our fun fly yesterday and it was fun until the Edge expired :( The prop hub snapped off the crank of the GP-176EVO after 3 flights! No warning at all. I had kept it high for the first 2 flights because I hadn't flown the plane in about 6 months and had to re-trim it after the new radio...

    This may sound crazy but, have you checked the plug from the pickup to the CDI? Is there a chance it is plugged in backwards? Just a thought.

    I have them installed on my 330lx and it not only makes a cleaner install but, it is also much easier when putting the plane together and taking it apart, one connector and done!
