The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Stacey, have to move the throttle and choke servos to different spots due to the rear carb, make an air/blow back dam in the area behind the carb and fuel proof it, finish recovering the repair areas and fire it up. I am going with 14" headers to start with and see how things go. Something tells...

Didn't make it to the shop because........

Because I was flying all weekend :) Had an IMAC contest in Wrightsville, AR this weekend. Thought I was going to be able to get some pictures but, things were going along so well I forgot to take the camera out until late Saturday. Then after I did I think I only got about 10 pictures.

Surveyed the damage to the 330LX when I had to dead stick it in again :( Not to bad. Actually have the gear block epoxied and curing. Should be able to get it back together tomorrow night and get what little bit of sheeting I need back in place so everything is ready for a nice shiny new power...

    Matchboxes

Yes, I have used the Intellimatch IM-22's on a few different planes with great results. Just make sure you follow the directions when setting the unit up. I would highly recommend using a separate power supply while doing the matching.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I got the Edge out today seeing as how the 330LX had the gear ripped out due to a dead stick from a broken hub bolt :( Figured I better get some time back in on the Edge before the contest this coming weekend :) The DLE 170 doesn't make near the power of the engine that was in the Extra but, it...

    Awesome Video Thread

Ok, now that I have watched 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and the Aerobatic Practice from 2015 :) I thought this was really cool, probably because I like to fly IMAC and this really hit home :)

    Fuel tank idea

The main key to the dual tank setup is making sure the lines off the T-fittings to the tanks are the same size and length. I run dual 32oz tanks on my Edge with a DLE 170 and it works great. I would go to a single 50oz tank but, that dle drinks gas for some reason and I would hate to run out of...
