    Yippee! What the postman brought

Yeah it’s a ton of fun. On a 2200mah 3S when I was running a 13x6 prop I was getting a 8 minute flight with about 25% left in the battery when I would land. That’s with pretty mild flying. Great thing with my taranis is I have a percentage based timer so if I fly harder it counts down faster it...

    IMAC Scroll Saw Blade Recommendations

Honestly I have been happy for hobby stuff on the scroll saw in just buying the big pack made by bosch at lowes. It has three different style blades and they work great for me.

Ok now take it way way way up high, pull power back and get it to stall, when it stalls crank in hard rudder and a little opposite ailerons, start bringing power back in and watch it do a wicked flat spin. Leave yourself plenty of time to recover as its not an instant thing and will not recover...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

The extra wire from the ESC is for a reversing function. Plug it up to a switched spars channel. When sitting still flip the switch and then start giving it throttle and the plane will drive backwards. Here a video of mine doing it. I don’t use it anymore as I only have a six channel receiver...

How big is your front yard. While the tundy flys great and gets in the air quick I feel it still needs a good bit of speed on landing

That's perfect right there. Just sand it smooth and be done with it.

Bring the sheeting in just enough to hide the mounting flanges and bolts and let that beautiful valve cover and rocker tubes hang out for all to see.

I have ordered from National before and most was decent some was crap and yes they are pricey. Switched to ordering from tower hobbies for a while as it was dirt cheap and was getting really good quality but the last two times I ordered it seemed more like oak that arrived. Switched up to SIG...

If I had the funds that would be a cool one to own.

That happened when I restored the old drill press I have. Pulled the motor apart and pretty sure i destroyed an entire colony of dirt dobbers.

    Cool Hangin’ in the Hangar

Not hanging in my shop rather in my living room. Only airplane related stuff the wife has ever allowed to be out on display. Cub picture we bought at the air and space museum. They had a bunch of others but where pretty pricey so I only got one. Christmas gift from a couple of years ago...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Good choice on the tundra. I have one and love it. Couple build notes. Replace the stock springs on the landing gear with something stronger. After a dozen flights mine was squatting hard and I didn’t have hard landings. Next get rid of the connectors for the wings. I built two one for me and...

Took my DLG out to see how the new stab I installed performed. First overhand toss to just check cg and trim new stab and I fly into a pole not watching where I’m going. Decided to keep flying it and had a ball but had to repair it when I got home. Didn’t worry with fiberglassing over the repair...
