Worked out the throttle and choke servos, the nose wheel servo will be mounted on the left side in the same manner. Was worried about the flex in the firewall possibly breaking the motor mount so the 1/4" thick aluminum strips were added. Once the nose wheel servo is mounted , need to install...

A "T" pin and a little white glue does a pretty nice job, a lot less messy around.

I did find 1/4" styrene angle to use for trim pieces, lighter and cheaper than the K&S and it is 14" long. Have a 10 pack on the way from Evergreen Scale Models, train folks., $28.

Very mild week in the Burg this week. Was hoping to get some primer inside the cockpit area before the snow flies and this looked like a good week. Filled in the obvious low spots and pin holes with spot putty and blocked the fuselage down. Still working on the interior finish and I'm not...

Here the screw hole marking can be seen after covering but the slight dimple made by the laser is filled with glue that adhered the doily. Once painted they are gone.

The rings are installed without screws, for the first inspection the center is cut out and a metal cover is installed to cover the hole. Covers can be screwed around the perimeter or held in place with a spring on the back side. The screw hole markings on the rings from I Fly Tales disappear...

The timer will be a logic switch in OpenTx, the off and on times are adjustable. I had the 3 watt red LED power up yesterday working great, hurts your eyes, then it quit. It was powered from a 2200 ma 2 cell lipo. After some voltage checks discovered the voltage was down to 3. 8 volts. Went...

Found this 3/4" red panel indicating lamp from Square D that I plan to use for the red anti collision beacon. Eliminated most of the assembly. Up until this point been making power supplies for the LED's from LM317 regulators, kind of a pain. Found the adjustable regulators (Left side) on...
