Extreme Flight 104 Extra 300

Hey guys, thought it would be cool to post this thread for anyone that wants to post pictures, video or any questions about the 104" Extra. It's my favorite airplane and I know a lot of people who feel the same. It's definitely the top choice in freestyle competition right now. It's very strong, and it's in my opinion the best all around airplane out there. Razor sharp precision, light and stable 3D, and aggressive fast rolling and tumbling maneuvers. I'll kick off this thread with a couple videos of this thing in action. Enjoy!

Here is my setup:
Engine- DA-120 w/stock mufflers

Hi Jase,

In the fourth picture of the engine with the spacers - are the spacers between the firewall and washer delrin? Do you find an advantage using these vs a longer aluminum spacer?

Thanks,

Angelo

Nice !!

On the plate to mount your receiver, what is that? I mean what kind of wood and what thickness...

Here is my plane. By the way, I did run it by your dad before mine looked like it does now!

Managed to rip off the counterbalance last weekend. Thankfully EF had them in stock. Hopefully I'll be back at it again next weekend. Love this plane!!

Ouch, I have beat my tail feathers up a bit on takeoff and landing. It's on my to do list to patch them up this winter.

Happened right after a round of pop tops... flying straight and level. No hard landings... I guess that was the counterbalance's expiration date and happy it wasn't the whole plane's... lol

I took my plane out a few weeks ago. thankfully I noticed a small 1" tear in the covering on the tip of the main wing. I would have been very bad, and I not noticed it. I ordered some covering to patch it up. I would guess a similar sized failure at speed ripped the tail apart on yours???
