number of flips...

30cc
As the title implies, number of flips to get your favorite motor running. Trying to get a list together to see what the average is. I'll Start.

DA120
2-3 with the choke on, will pop
1-2 with choke off and it's alive

DLE 30
6-8 with choke on, will pop then
1-2 with choke off and it's alive

I rock the prop back and forth until I hear gas getting to the carb with choke on.
Then if I stopped at the right time its 1 flip to get running, if I overdid it, then its 2 or 3 flips.

DM33
6-8 with choke to pop
3-4 with choke off then it runs with mediocre power LOL.

Hmmmm, I got to think about this one lol

DLE 55 takes 3-4 with the choke on, then another 3-4 to get it running.

My DLE 111 can be a little cantankerous if it has set for a few days. But when its being flown regularly, 3 flips to prime with the choke on and throttle open, 2-3 flips and it's running. (if it has sat for a week or so, it takes a lot more!!)

DLE 120, just got this one so I'll report back when it's warm enough to give it a go!

DLE 170, 4 flips with the choke on, 4-5 to get it running.

Very glad you posted this. Been wondering myself. Here are mine.
DLE55: 4 choke on, 3 choke off, running.
DLE111: 3 choke on, 2 choke off, running. 1 the rest of the day.
3W 157CS: 3 choke on, 2-3 choke off, running.
GP Evo 176: 3-4 choke on, 2 choke off, running. 1-2 choke off rest of day.

3W-150 TOC 4-5 flips on choke, 3-4 and running
3W-106 3-4 flips on choke, 4-5 and running
DA-60 2-3 flips on choke, 3 and running, this was when I had the engine. It was one of the best starting engines I have ever owned.

I do not run mine dry. Used to, but found that the carb sometimes would get gummed up if I wasn't flying for a month or so and make it a witch to start the first time. That was also before I switched to Redline oil also.
