The guys using the hair spray method for surface preparation do you have to go back and use a wood pecker before putting the monokote down?

I do use the hair spray method, but I sand it with 600 dry after the hair spray dried then vacuum then go over it with a tack rag.If you do have a air bubble poke it with a needle not a pin , then iron over it slowly .
Thanks
Van

If you go from the middle out in small sections like TBrum shows in this video there won't be much trouble with bubbles.

A bit of humor for those who prefer Monokote to Ultracote. My friends opinion of Ultracote so he put it on a shirt.
For the record I use both coverings and get along fine with them but he is a diehard Monokote user and does beautiful work.

Thanks for the help. What grit did you sand to before hair spray application?
