We will be in need of pilots soon. All majors are hiring again and regionals are shrinking.

My life long dream was to be a commercial pilot (like most here I would assume). But I am colorblind and so that put an end to that dream. I even studied the color charts and tried to get through an US Army flight physical but when the Dr. pulled out the yarn and inquired as to what color was what.... my 121 GT score meant nothing and I was done. Now I hear from a instructor buddy of mine that they are allowing it with an FAA waiver of some sort with some sort of demonstration test. Anyway.... I'm now rapidly approaching 45 with zero time in the seat and have mouths to feed/responsibilities..... I hope to one day be able to get at least a private pilot license and fly like the eagles!

Mike I'm guessing your path has blessed many and that its not a regret just a different route. You certainly are doing boat loads for RC and bring many smiles to many faces. If you're ever on a Delta Airbus, check the pointy end! That goes for all here. Look for the guy between flights checking 3DRCF!

I am fulfilling another dream of bringing my passion of RC to others. Thanks for the encouragement it's good to hear people are enjoying the site. Life is good no doubt and I am surrounded by amazing people like you to share in the wonderful experience.

Hey 3DMIKE, I just wanted to echo dth7's sentiments. i enjoy your posts. Your knowledge of this hobby and willingness to share it helps those of us who are still learning and yearning to be better builders and better pilots. On another note, reading these last several posts are what make this forum so cool. People encouraging and educating others without condescension (from my experience). My love (addiction) to aviation and RC are fueled by guys like you! And Mike, it's like Mama Gump said, "life is like a box of chocolates…" Good luck . Sorry for the sermon, dudes…but it is Sunday.
