After seeing Capt Roll's awesome 100cc OMP Yak, I had to learn more! I found this one in my size range: http://www.ohiomodelplanes.com/50ccyak/index.htm

Anyone out there have one? I'm very interested in this airplane, and any info about it.

what kind of info are you looking for on the 50cc?

A link to a product review would be awesome, but if not, just some comments from someone who owns one about the flight characteristics. Unfortunately, Rex couldn't fly his, so I've got no idea how well OMP aircraft fly, or how the compare to other aircraft I'm more familiar with.

gyro i will look around and see if i can find a review on it, its an older airframe so that may be a bit of a chore lol....as far as how they fly and compare to other planes, i can say that i have flown alot of different manufactures over the years and omp is one of my favorites, all build quality is top notch, all light weight with outstanding wing loading making them do whatever you want to do. and as far as the yak goes in the size your looking at the roll rate is insane!!! and one of the best parts is they come with complete carbon accessories i.e. landing gear, wing and stab tubes, spinner, and carbon rods throughtout the fuse and wings to make sure they hold up to whatever you through at them. i will look for that review and in the meantime if you have any other questions let me know and ill help anyway i can. you can also call john drake at the number listed on the website and he will be able to help too.
