Oh man, that is brutal. I did a similar integrity test to a slick when it got into an argument with some power lines. The power lines won.

I'll bet it was flying perfectly too. (my slick was - which really made me mad!)

Sorry to see that pic. Did you buy another one yet, or ?
 
Gyro, I checked those out, thanks for sharing that link. I'm stuck between the red one and the yellow one. Since my servos will be HV I shouldn't need to turn down the voltage from 2S lipo for them -

So that makes me think Red version would be OK. But maybe the yellow one just to not have to worry about frying the ignition (I can't find if the GP61 ignition is happy with 2S lipo or not, I'm thinking not?)

GP ignition is 2s compatible
 
That's what I thought I read somewhere but couldn't track it down. I know the old rcexl ignitions were not happy with 2S, glad they changed that.

So it's the red version of the redwing power board - nice and simple.
