That dancing Bananna is awesome! Good to hear from ya nick. Yep I'm singing every Wednesday night and getting my feet wet one Sunday a month or so... It's been so amazing and fun. God is good! You should totally do it. I wish I could play the piano, guitar, drums, heck anything, I'm jealous! God will bless you with amazing flying days if you do, ha ha!

Later man!

Was just wondering, about how heavy do you think the airplane in this video is? About 18lbs maybe? Just trying to figure what a GP61 might do in an airframe I have. Thanks

Anybody have any experience with Blue Bird Servos? I'm looking into a set for my 60" 3D airframe... particularly the A207 model
http://www.blue-bird-model.com/en/widevoltageservo/bms-a207.html
Specs are awesome. 6v/.06/75 $47 which is comparable to some MKS-HV9767 (a little faster and less torque but half the cost) 6v/.09/94 $92
Thoughts?

Nick, I would go with the Hitec 5245mg on that plane, I have that airplane and those are what I use on it, I am not a big fan of Blue Bird servos, I have used them in helicopters before and lets just say I wasnt happy with the results

The new line of BB's are nicer than the ones of years past. May give Chad @Rick dazzler a holler at TaildraggerRC. He can get you ironed out on those servos. I know that they are not a commonly stocked item on his shelf. But Im sure that he could get them for you, if you decided to go that route.

I have had issues with Hitecs not centering well, which means chasing your trim.

When I had my EF Laser 200, I flew Savox 1250s in it. That was when Chad dealt Savox servos. Never had an issue with them, HV, fast and powerful. Faster and stronger than the MKS, if I remember.....

Thanks for the input @Bipenut53 and @Bunky.F.Knuckle I'm going to try out some new Savox HV servos SV-1260MG from @SupaTim 's NWRC. There are a little heavy, pricey (yet cheaper than MKSHV9767) and stupid high torque/speed on 7.4V let alone 8V. Overkill.... most definitely. :yesss: fun fun fun!

Thinking I might need to see a doctor, I've managed to burn a gallon of fuel and 9 flights on my 91" Slick the last 2 days- I never log that much, maybe that in 2-3 weeks :oblong::oblong::oblong::eek:

Tomorrow we're flying the Yak :D

Yup, most 91" airplanes come in right at about 21lb with the DA70. My 91" Slick is just a hair over 21lb with the DA70, the GP61 is a bit lighter so you'll probably see mid 20's in those size. The 88" airplanes are generally lighter at around 19lb.
