Personally I don't think pics like that should be posted. What if a family member is a member here?

You are quite right. But I believe he at first did not realize it is an actual "investigative" photo. I'm sure he meant no harm. Just joking with me.

Actually, I was thinking the same thing last night. I think I will remove it. I did not realize at the time the graphic influence that is exhibited by that photo. I'm just very thankful that Kelly is okay and didn't suffer any kind of a serious accident like that photo.

And the madness continues. I started sanding the cowl tonight and a bittersweet recollection occured. Though I am fond of Tony and all of Pilot RC, I can't like the clear coat he has adopted for his finishes. I bet each of you a hundred dollar bill, (not really, just coining a phrase) that a guy could shoot a 50 caliber Mustang bullet at this canopy and not even scratch the clear coat let alone the paint. Talk about tough stuff. On the other hand, no doubt it is top notch for finish. Nevertheless, the process has started.

I have decided on a little surprise for y'all. Unfortunately you will have to come back and keep tabs to see what that surprise is. I do think you all will like the little surprise. Until then, cowl prep will proceed. Stay tuned everyone.

Oh, by the way... I have so missed the target weight by about a million miles. So far it is stacking up to come in at or about 42 pounds. I don't know what made me think I could get it in under what the 260 was. Especially since the biggest majority of components came over from the 260. But on the upside, the 260 flew like a million bucks. No reason this bigger and more up to date airframe should handle or fly any less spectacularly. The maiden is approaching fast. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

More later fellas.
