Blast from the past. This is the very first plane I designed back in 2014. After flying it for a year it went on a world tour all over the US and even out of the states once to different probros. All that was asked was to get some pictures and video of them flying it and before they where done to sign the wing. It made it back to me yesterday. It’s ready to make a handful of last flights before being hung on the wall in retirement to show off all of the signatures

More turbo otter work. Baaaaaabby steps....
I want to make Fowler flaps and ailerons.... but that seems like it’s going to take a while.
Shaped the cowl some more.
I’m getting there slowly.

Okay... stupid idea for the ailerons. I should have redisigned the whole trailing edge of the wing for that.

However. With one missed opportunity comes another.

My custom LED nav lights. I’ll need to test them. But instead of going crazy with Fowler flaps maybe this is a better idea.... this project is taking too long.

I have the 1.5m pod and boom Electric one. For simple get either the 1.5 or 2m one with the standard fuse. On the Electric version you may need to help a bit with the fiberglass work but that’s it. All wing joints get a little glass Work but really it’s the nose that is kind of tricky to do right and look nice but it needs to be done or it’s super brittle as the wood gets really thin when shaping around the motor and spinner.
