    3D printer from Dremel

LOL! What's a good one to do interiors, weapons (scale details), and the like?

    Throttle servo?

So, you don't need torque, or speed, but you have plenty of both :)

    Throttle servo?

Speed isn't a big deal when you think about it, most any servo under .2 or so can yank a throttle arm around faster than an IC engine can react to throttle changes.

3D to iBEc or not to iBEc that is my question

I run 2500 A123 in my Corvus with an IBEC, but they charge so fast I do 3 flights and charge, though it consumes about 350mah per flight so I have a few more before I'd worry. Thats with all Savox digitals and a GP61

3D to iBEc or not to iBEc that is my question

Yea, I see this a lot, you're talking about this from 515-A Thats from 515-A which is the Safety Standards for Giant Scale RACING That only applies to racing competition, there's no requirements in the AMA safety code for a kill switch which applies to the rest of us. Even 520-A that says...

What AMA regulation are you referring to?

3D to iBEc or not to iBEc that is my question

Interesting question. On legislating common sense, in Florida, seat belts are required, motor cycle helmets are not; go figure. I think they are a really good idea. They kill an engine despite any mechanical failures of the throttle servo, throttle pushrod, loss of signal, and loss of rx...

3D to iBEc or not to iBEc that is my question

@Rooman Its a good idea, but the AMA does not require a transmitter activated kill switch on a gas plane. It's a common misconception. The only place it's addressed is Giant Scale Racing rules, where it IS required.

    Your Package Arrived Smashed!!

They got me too last week :( Plane was shipped one off from China to the distributor, then sent 2 day UPS to my house so a review and cover shot could be done for when the press release came out next month and the shipment arrived. They probably have more in the shipping than a new kit will...

I've redrilled them w/o issue but I used a drill press and prop drill guide

    LiFe questions

Listen to Terry. You need a charger for LiFe/A123 Also, get real A123 cells from Wrongway or Tail Dragger I run one 2500 A123 in a 60CC Corvus that feeds 6x Savox digitals plus the ignition, I burn about 350 mah per flight. You have some wiggle room under 50% but its best not to push your...

Show off Warbird photos...you know you have one!

Cool looking, so I'd say yes! I've CD'd several warbird events and would have no trouble letting that one fly

    Secraft Wire Tensioners

They are THE only way to setup a P/P system, once you use a set you'll never go back to crimping brass sleeves
