    Telemetry Usefullness

    I tried using the Spektrum telemetry with the little do-hickey that plugs into the iPhone... I could never get that great of a signal with it and it kept losing connection. I'm looking at switching to the XG11 with the built in JR telemetry... it would be really nice to have batt voltage...

    Here are a couple of my 1/3rd Scale Balsa USA Cub... It's kind of a handful with the full length wing but it looks cool. A friend of mine built it and he needed space in his garage so I ended up with it. He also built a really nice set of floats for it but I have never had them on the plane..

    A little late but I went flying Friday.... It was fricken cold 45-50 degrees with like a 5mph wind... Felt like 35 degrees!!! I know you mid-west and east coast guys are laughing your butts off.. The engine loved it, man that was some crazy fun power it makes in the cold air!

    I also use the Hitec X4-80.. Got it so I can charge both rx packs, the ignition pack and the transmitter all at the same time.. It has been solid so far and for the price with the tower coupons and free shipping I think it's a great deal. I think I got it for $115 shipped or so...

    What are you going to build in 2015?

    I hope to build something, not a cool warbird, but I have a tiger 60 and a Ultrasport 60 in the garage. I don't have the finishing skills just yet to try something bigger. After I finish one or both of those I really want to build that 1/3 scale Taylorcraft JTec kits..
