    Stand offs from Craig arrived today. Made up a series harness with a tap for a BEC so I could program the ESC and run up the motor with the Revo 435 blend. Looks like my motor is 214 KV. Castle log said just over 3000 Watts on firmware 3.27 but I usually see around 15% higher on a watt meter...

    When I say small, the distance from pilot line to the property line is 400 ft. First house is about 600 ft directly across from pilot station.

    bizarre issue with airplane

    One of our club members had a plane getting ready to maiden, but when he throttled it up the right flaps dropped. He tracked it down to a loose connection. Maybe one of the pins in a connection is loose.

    Fail Safe Question

    I fly electric, so mine is set to kill the motor. I set all my motors on a kill switch and fly with an idle setting. One day in the pits my radio went in to fail safe and the motor turned on. Since that day I have set my failsafe to zero throttle.
