    Engine running issue.

    My DLE 30 was similar. Blenders,knife edge spins,pushing up hard from inverted would all snuff it out. I did the metering valve mode,ran the hose into a pill bottle with a small hole in it, didn't do it, made static ports on either side of the fuse, didn't do it,ran the hose just laying in...

    Idle Up

    Same here, always set the far left forward switch with idle up/down. I had an sbach that would balloon on landing when slowed down,so on the same switch, I had low idle and a little bit on spoilerons mixed in to make it land nice.

    He must have had that Galaxy gear watch with a camera in it or something like that.. My other club is sort of like that, just a bunch of old farts with bad attitudes . Absolutely no helicopters and heaven forbid you don't fly "the pattern"...

    Depends on the environment, for me boating is/was a second job. It can be stressful, while I was running that 64, I also owned a 50 foot Hatteras sportfish of my own, so it was tons of work. Next year, I will now downsize to a smaller 30-36 foot center console and get back to the fun part...
