    What about expo?

3D rates for me are max travels, and 65% expo. Liquid expo seems to help others..... But other rates net me around the 40% value for low, and 50% for mid rates. I use tri rates.

3D A Red Aero RC 108 Corvus is born!

Just opened up the canister mounting package that EG sends with the Corvus. Guess what! There is a 70mm canister mounting plate included! That will make my install of these TD 110's so much easier! The hardware package that is included is exceptional! I'm glad that they do not include servo...

    EF 60 Laser

Hoping that my servos come in on Monday..... I'm gonna make my own extensions for this one, since 20ga wire would be a little much for this little airframe. I'm gonna make the extensions long enough to move the Rx fwd for if/when I change 6S packs. I guess I could mount my 110HV esc.....

    That Pesky old issue, Noise!

Typically, they take measurements 3' off the ground, 25' away, from what I can remember of my IMAC days....... But I could be wrong....... What you've got for readings, really isn't loud........ My opinion.

    foam core repair

It depends on how bad the foam is munched under the wood. I had the same thing happen many times with my 35% Carden. I just cut the wood away, inject some gorilla glue in the foam crack, and then lay my replacement wood in over the crack, and tape it in so the GG can dry.

    foam core repair

Bingo!! Except for the water method for me. Then tape it down, and let the glue do its thing!

3D A Red Aero RC 108 Corvus is born!

More. In the last pic, you'll see some FG cloth on the upper outside corners. I did that for a little reason. With the DA 120 on the front, and the possibility of it shaking, I need all the reinforcement I can get. I'll be doing this as well to my new 108" Corvus, and incorporating it...

3D A Red Aero RC 108 Corvus is born!

Assembling this for a good flying buddy of mine. It started life being in a box, sheltered from the day light. Now it is sitting in my basement, on its wheels, awaiting a heart for guidance, and lungs for propulsion. Equipment is as follows....... DA 120 with 70mm drop headers...

3D Fibertech Hyperlite Slick.....sort of build thread.

I taped the entire hingelines when I installed the hinges on my OMP 330SC. The tape is a life saver! No more picking at the glue in fear of nicking the covering! Then what do I do..... Burn both elevator balances off the airplane. Have to rehinge 1/2 of the left elevator... :( Lets just...

3D Fibertech Hyperlite Slick.....sort of build thread.

Never a bad time to post pics of progress!! I just wait a little bit longer for my paint guy to be free'd up at his body shop. Good paint work, for a good cost to me! I don't care if there is a tad of orange peel in the work he does for me. As long as I'm happy with it, thats all that...

3D old school Aeroworks edge rebuild.

I had the ARF in '03. Airplane flew good. But after all the flights I put on it, I decided to recover/refinish it. 4th flight after the recover, coming out of a parachute, right wing blows off the tube. There was a mod for it, and noone knew about it until after they thrashed the airplane.

OK.. why is there a camping section?

Come back from IRCHA, the heli jamboree. Lots of generators running! Seemed like the choice was the Honda. But, I did see an abundance of the Champion, Ryobi and Yamaha generators as well. I chose the Champion due to the low cost of it. If I ever need another generator, I can get...

    25% servos

Brian is my go to for servos! You can't go wrong with Savox servos. There are other dealers out there for Savox. WrongWayRC and TailDraggerRC. I'm using the 1267SG on throttles and on the swash for my 750 heli. Awesome servos!

3D Fibertech Hyperlite Slick.....sort of build thread.

Kudos on starting stuff, and it actually gets finished. Witnessed it 3x in threads! I've had my Dalton 300 done for 2 years (recover), just lack motivation to get it painted.
