On the DLE 55 I think it was WT-76 and VVRC use to sell them.. http://www.valleyviewrc.com/estore/dle-55-replacement-carburetor.html The 170 was a WB-27 the same carb used on DA 150s and I purchased it from DA...I think it was around 100 bucks.. Yeah Valley View has a good reputation for treating their customers right. Got my first 50cc plane and my first DLE 55 from them several years ago. Good bunch of people! Cool old school planes??
I've got a beautiful 30 year-old scratch-built 33% scale Pitts S1S/T sitting on my bench, that was given to me by the builder. Although sorry to say it will never fly again ....I am in the process of adding a bit more scale details to it for static display. I'll shoot some pics and the story...- stangflyer

Thanks, but it will take a little labor on your part since it will be in kit form I'm going to do my best to have canopy and cowl ready by end of October. Fuse and foam should be all set. I'll be building another one for myself during the Winter Ah hell...kits don't scare me.- stangflyer

I have "GOT TO" git me one of these.... I fell in love with that airframe the moment I saw the first video on UTUBE. Now it's gonna be a hard choice for Spring. A new PAU or a new Viper. Come on Terry...send me one...LOL- stangflyer
