    Im running 1/4 standoffs with 4s 4000 bat and it is pretty tail heavy. To the point it doesnt fly very well. Not to mention land! Well, another 1/8" of standoffs isn't going to fix that.     Just the stability of the plane in general! I went from 60" electric to 60cc gas so that is probably the reason. I cant really compare it to a different airframe since I havent flown anything this size but I sure love this gentleman!:) And is it ever pretty! I really like the EME 60 too. Nice...

    I talked to the stihl distributor man here and he said that the best way to break in these two cycle engines is to start it up and run it wide open for 15min and then shut it down and let it cool off then start it back up and run it wide open again 30min this time. He says it should be broke in...

    Well one thing we know a bowman ring sure isnt going to hurt anything:) Ya I decided the 55 wasnt quite gonna pull a plane this weight around very well. Somehow I got side tracked from the 89" Slick to this plane:)

    I got mine with the bowman ring installed for 380$ so I am pretty happy with that. I'm kinda curious what the performance difference would be stock vs bowman ring on this engine.
