3Drew, I haven`t gotten that far yet, but knowing their product I would go about 1.5 inches in front of the wing tube to start...You can remove the canopy and use the method were you hang the thing with a loop of string just to make sure your not tail heavy. Let her rip....Gonna maiden mine this weekend.....

Check that on the CG as I was off by a good bit..I finally got to fly the Yak this weekend and ended up needing to have the battery all the way back against the wing tube as well as 1/2 oz. of weight by the tail wheel and I`m still not quite neutral enough.. I would say its gonna take another 1/2 oz. Overall the flight performance was just ok.It wasn`t as floaty as a slick and difficult to handle in high alpha stuff , but I`m still tweaking on it...CG throws etc...The combination of the Torque motor, 16x7, and a 6s 3300 is excellent as it has awesome power and speed and runs a long time... here are some pics. 20141011_150225.jpg20141011_150143.jpg

I wonder if the EF power system is just too heavy for the 3dhs Yak with the 3dhs having 620 sq in wing area vs EF's 760 sq inches.

I know sq in isn't the be all end all, just wonder it the 3dhs would benefit from a ligther build to maximize performance.

It maybe make it slightly more floaty, but honestly the power system was the best part at this point...It just bored holes in the sky...I wish my 70 Velox had this kind of power. I have tweak on mine some more to be fair..I might even try out the SFGs to see if that helps with some of the wing rock..
