I was finally able to get an actual number on where the CG is on the 87....the manual from 3DHS says 170-190mm for maiden but can be moved aft for 3D so I figured a good starting point would be 200mm which converts to 7.87 inches....so somewhere between 7 3/4 and 8 inches will probably do but I dont know where that is compared to the center of the wingtube....its measured at the root from the leading edge...I wont be back home to measure it till next weekend....if somebody gets a chance can you measure 8 inches at the root from the leading edge and tell me where that ends up in perspective to the tube?

Guys I need some help renewing the interior of my 87. I don't usually care about looks as long as it flys well, but I feel like this plane deserves a little tlc. I've thought about painting the inside with some textured paint like I've seen. I have looked around to see if there is anyway to brighten up the balsa a little bit and found that people recommended some kind of spot remover on the balsa. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
