I am helping my friend who is not internet savvy, sell his biplane.
Selling a very impressive 50% SE5a WW1 biplane built from a short kit (Walt Moucha). Built by Warren Cross, one of the best builders in the southwest. Plane is covered with Solartex. Also rib stitching on all wings, rudder & elevator for scale look. Highly detailed cockpit, pilot.
The biplane flew Saturday (Sep 5th, 2015) on an exhibition flight and was also on exhibit at Warbirds/Classics meet N. Las Vegas (6-8 Nov).
The biplane weights approx 70 lbs.12ft wingspan. Minimum trailer size is 6'x12'
Engine is DLE 170 with 32x10 prop. All JR 8711 servos with metal arms throughout.
Dual receivers, a Spektrum 12ch and a Spektrum 9ch. Programmed on DX18.
