Shapeing and sanding struts are not my favorite things to do. There are to many of them on a WWI plane. I managed to get through them.

Stained the struts Painted the wire part of the Struts Dark brown to blend in with the Wood. It's not scale but I'll live with it. Started covering the top wing again while the paint is drying. I'll put the wing back on the peg, out of the way when it's covered.

Working on it. My Stencil lady went out of business. I'm trying to find a new place that does stencils... Don't want to use stickers on a fabric wing.

Todays agenda was to finish covering the top wing. Did that plus put 2 coats of latex on top of the wing. Glued the wood struts onto the wires and have one coat of Poly on them. Its always nice getting to the point when you start putting color on. Even if it's out of turn.
Does anyone have a source for painting stencils. Get Stencils.com is out of business.
