even if you don't take pictures right away, make a list with a general description and condition and people will ask for photos if they're interested!

Classified surfing is like a whole different part of the hobby, there's some really cool stuff out there! I've been putting together a 40 size trainer for a nephew of mine who's 13 and interested in flying. I found a NIB Kadet .40 ARF for $50 on Craigslist. I have a receiver I got for an extra $10 with a radio I bought. Servos I bought new (I already had them for a different project) But the tough one to catch has been an inexpensive .40 size 2 stroke or .50-56 sized 4 stroke for it. They do pop up sometimes as low as $30 but by the time I see them they are gone. It's tough to catch a REALLY good deal on the classifieds, they go so fast.

i'm right there with you! surfing the classifieds is like down time between home chores or website chores! and when you hit something that you've been looking for or when you beat everyone to a great deal, it's like a two dollar scratch off prize with double winnings! lol

I still dabble with classic pattern planes. High performance 60/61's (YS, OPS, etc) are of interest to me.
