All your 104's look great and I bet function quite well.Cudos! Gary I really like your 3S set up! Potential !!! or should I say potent.:running-lol: Here is mine. Had an issue with the ignition cut off early on (Maiden) but all is well now with about 25 flights so far.

I like the idea and have been looking at making my own custom distribution / power control where 1 3S pack is used to power flight control and engine support /auxiliary (ie.. Ignition/smoke pump). At 12.6-11.8 volts all the potential energy available would never allow a voltage drop steep enough to cause problems under sustained high loads. Power caps and regulators to smooth it all out. Only concern would be not exhausting the charge on the pack. There was a China company that had a similar device (like a Smart-Fly power expander) that used 2S or 3S packs and the voltage was regulated through a cheap potentiometer (crash waiting to happen). Idea good design bad.

The BEC pro is programmable to any voltage you want and is good for 20 amps. It weighs one oz and was less than $40.

Well not so much electrical but here was my last engine set-up.

Here is my plane. My batteries fit on either along the side of the fuel tank with a velcro strap. The receiver tray is light plywood lightened with holes and covered with ultra coat. It houses the connector for my Aileron wiring from Taildragger.

very clean! I love seeing the different ways that people mount those harness's. Always makes for a clean set-up.

I also like seeing other people's installs to get cool new ideas.

Lots of nice looking installs in this thread.

Here is mine :)
