New to GSN!
Our field is L shaped with the main field in the N - S direction. The E -W can be used occasionally when winds are out of the East but it is mostly used for helicopters or quads practicing. The 160 x 600 ft area is adequate for small, large planes and even jets. I couldn't see a much smaller field for large gas planes for the average flyer, but it would sharpen your skills both flying and rebuilding when you hit the long grass.
