Post to winn contests do drive up post count but what does that really mean? Sending out a mass email to every email address regarding post to winn will also get people to post who may not have even visited the site otherwise.

one thing, how many of those 72000+ members were because of one member with multiple screennames, I know I had 3.

"they" had to start post to win contests, otherwise the sponsors would see that the post counts are way down and FG would lose sponsors, (IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY)

Personally I have not posted over there since Sleepy got the boot, and I won't , post contest or not, I lurk over there from time to time to watch the slow death of that site, especially since that site is all about money and not at all about "hobby love" .

Most posts over there are all BS, almost no "quality" postings, and a whole bunch of know it all's who don't know chit.

This is odd.  The images in post 1 disappeared with the new site update so I was going to quote the text and re post the images however the images reappeared in the quote.

This is all great news, but I think I speak for many when I say that I hope this recent upgrade is worth it.  I'm sure Bart and Sleepy are working on improving on it, but it seems to be unwieldy for now.  Hard to track down our favorite threads.  Even the "New Posts" isn't up to date.  I'm willing to be patient, as I know that ultimately they want to create a #1 experience.

By the end of the week, Sleepy, Bart and crew will have this place lookin great, also, I was meandering over on the "other site" and it's about to blow up, the infractions page is goin nuts. It seems that all it is over there is massive infighting.
