From Chris Hinson:
Still getting caught up from Joe Nall insanity, but I wanted to take a minute to answer some of the questions that I see that are repeatedly popping up.

Yes 3DHS and Extreme Flight have merged, all operations will be out of our current location in Cumming, GA. We are working on getting a showroom together hopefully by Summer's end and will welcome folks to stop by and see the "latest greatest" and pick up product from our warehouse.
We have received a lot of praise for our customer service and going forward our same customer service policies will apply to all of these new brands. Curtis is still in charge of this and he is now helped by Zach Havener who has stepped up and valiantly taken on this challenge. We will add others as the need arises and finances allow. We ask for your patience as we learn all of the details of the 3DHS models and work to stock spare parts. We will make it a point to stay well stocked on spares for all of the models. If you've been a customer of EF for the past few years I think you know that we have made a huge effort to keep a large supply of spare parts in stock. There will be times when we run out of a certain part, but Melissa is doing a great job of staying on top of this and making sure parts will be available on the next container.
We are going to do our best to deliver a variety of color schemes for our models. We will use traditional covering methods as well as the new printed technology. We will have both "busy" schemes and more traditional straight line schemes. The last thing any of us want to do is alienate our established customer bases.
Many have asked about the printed films and repairs. This is a CMYK print process with a large format printer. Printing is done on Ultracote. I think some have been confused by some of the terminology. There is a single piece of covering for the wing top, another for the bottom, one for each fuselage side, same for stabs and rudder. This eliminates most seams and prevents stripes from peeling off. This will be of great benefit to those who run smoke systems. This process also removes the limitations of what can be done ironing strips of covering to a structure, giving a lot of artistic freedom to develop some truly unique schemes. Arron's Demonstrator Edge scheme is amazing, but is only the tip of the iceberg as far as what can be done and was one of his first attempts with this new technology. We will sell replacement panels of pre-printed Ultracote for repairs. Use of an iron sock is mandatory for good results, but it is really no more difficult than typical covering repairs. We will make a video to demonstrate the proper application of this printed covering.
I appreciate the overwhelming positive response from modelers all over the planet. For those who are in some way put off by this merger I simply ask, give us a chance. We are committed to busting our butts to deliver the best airframes, accessories and support in the industry. It will take a few months to reach maximum efficiency, so please be patient, but I assure you the best is yet to come!
Sincerely,
