Another winter indoor flying season is nearly upon us! We have 17 Saturday night fly-in dates scheduled for the 2013-2014 at Roundtripper Sports Academy (RSA) located in Westfield, Indiana (north Indianapolis suburb). RSA is an indoor baseball practice facility with a very spacious flying area at 130' x 150' x 35'. The ground surface at RBA is comprised of artificial grass. This season's pilot fee is $10.00 per fly-in. Spectators and pilots under under the age of 10 years old are free. Newbies are also welcomed! No AMA is required to fly. Electric airplanes and electric helis (450 size and under) only.
This year, all starting times are locked in at no later than 9:00 pm and we are allowed to fly as late as we choose. There will be some fly-ins in which we'll be able to start earlier than the scheduled times. In this case, I send out an email as early as possible to notify our pilots of the time change. Usually this email is sent out on the Thursday or Friday prior to the fly-in. If I don't have your email address and you wish to be notified of any fly-in time changes, please email me at nance_jim@yahoo.com.
