Thanks guys. I am pleased with the progress. And not so pleased I have no nerves left to fly it. Not to mention the weather pretty much sucks today. "IF" the maiden happens, Tomorrow better shape up a whole lot more than today.

With the last of the canopy screws in place, the receiver packs tightly strapped in and a little canopy lettering...the Pitts is....DONE! I really don't think there is much more I can rationally think of to add or change. But then, who ever said I was rational? LOL. It has been a very...."VERY" long seven months from start to finish. But happily, through the grief, the frustration, the setbacks, and the triumphs the Pitts has really come around in the final stages of the completion. I really feel there is so much more I could have done better or more precisely. Perhaps even a little better thought out before addressing what issues I have had. That being said, I don't think I could have waited another five or six or more months to complete this project. I have many to thank for all the constant prodding, encouragement and continued support through this endeavor. Without you awesome friends and followers, I am actually relatively certain, I probably would have given up on this long...."LONG" ago. Simply said, Thank you....one and all.

Now for the photos of the completed Pitts. I will add that I will probably get a graphics package ordered for this. But just not sure what I want. So, that will come in time. First, lets get that maiden out of the way.

The moment you all have been waiting for...less the first flight of course. This was just a really quick tossed together quick assembly for photos.

Have to say that turned out great. Nice and enjoyed following the build. If I may suggest paint the cross brace in the cockpit black.

Thanks...its definitely been worth it. There was a reason why I initially decided against painting that. Now I'm thinking that even though it was revised as a single seater and they had a different canopy, I may go back and paint it. Probably white.

All kidding aside Rob, that Bad Boy looks AWESOME, Buddy ! ! ! ! ! . . . . . . You did an outstanding job building that plane. You truly deserve all the accolades you will be getting for this one. That's for sure. I bet the only thing that would make your S12 look better is a background of bright sunshine, a clear blue sky and air beneath its wings.

After you finish your monster Yak, you need to find a 1/3 scale Barth Waco to build.

Nothing to fear. it fly's great and very predictable. Keep the throws down about half that of an IMAC plane to start and you will have a GREAT maiden!!
