Love how everyone but me gets free DA parts and service. My 120 took $350 in parts to get it back 100%.

What did they find wrong? I know you were having issues with it.

I have had both experiences. I spent about $300.00 on repairs to my 120 a few years ago when a tree grabbed my plane. Didn't expect free parts on that. Did send in a few over the years with only shipping cost there. I did sent in a 170 before I sold it to install new bearings and check over. That was pretty cheap.

You can have your CRRC's, your DLE's, your KCS's, your DLA's, I'll stick to 3W and DA. Quality and service are mandatory for me.

Scorn cylinder/piston/ring, main bearings, hub, prop stud, and I believe a crank...

Not to mention.... It dead sticked ALOT!

So the $350 was for parts only right? I've never heard of them charging for labor.

Gives me comfort in knowing that there is excellent manufacturer support with my DA. I've been on the fence about either buying a DA120 or a GP123 but I think I'll stick with the DA120 for my next airplane. I've heard far too many good stories about DA.

My experience with DA has been they charge for parts, and not the labor. I couldn't be happier with my experience with this Company. Great folks. Can't wait to get Colton Clark on the phone next time I have an occasion to do some business with them.
