My Plane - My Daughter

Not sure if this qualifies for a post here but thought I would share. Back in 1981 I built my first Giant Scale (not by today's standards) A scratch built Liberty Sport Bi-Plane from Wendell Hostetler plans - 77" span 24 lbs. The first time I put it all together (pre-covering) in my living room my 3 year old daughter standing right alongside it says, "where do you put your feet". Had me in hysterics as she stood just a little taller than the top wing.

My dad actually has a Liberty Sport Biplane kit still in the box, never built. Believe its the 60 sized plane. I'll have to check it out next time Im over there again and see what the kit manufacture was.

I've taken my Grand daughter to the flying field since she was 2(5 now). When ever she would see a real airplane she would point at it and say "pawpaw plane". I have hopes of passing this great hobby to her.
