My Ultimate builds

Welcome to GSN. Looks like you have to big projects ahead of you will following with interest. Had a couple of Ultimates but they were a lot smaller 120 glow size from Carl Goldburg, but enjoyed them.

The frame is fully welded. That is difficult to with tubing and thin wall. When the welding is done are all the welds checked. Are they mag particle inspected or die penetrant. Man that is huge project and at the end have to get in it and fly it. Helped a person build a Lansair it was a huge project and not for the faint of hear.

GSNadmin yes it is a full Chromoly fuse!

Snoopy yes all welds are checked and FAA Certified before it can be painted. No real difference then a race car cage certification

That person can weld it looks excellent. I now you can not tell from the outside but it is clean and smooth.
