Mystery Target Drone engines?

    Looks like the same type of engine is mounted on the aircraft featured in this recent video...

    Yep, the manufacturer of the Tigershark UAS is the one who recognized it and got me on the right track. GiantScaleNews has a few guys on their forum who were running them in race planes in the 80's. They were getting 200mph out of them back then, but I think there are lighter options these days.

  4. Some of the USRA giant scale racers are using the Herbranson 289 for their birds. Ralph Cunningham is a notorious engine guru.
